Routing & Scheduling covers booking straight from your web forms, routing to the right person, and the other parts of Chili Piper's scheduling. Experiences adds AI that qualifies and routes visitors around the clock, and identifying which companies visit your site. ChiliCal is the calendar alone, for teams that only need scheduling; every plan includes it.

AI credits are used when Chili Piper's AI does something, such as identifying visitors, routing leads or running chat conversations. Each plan includes a number per year, and you can buy more in bundles. The pricing page doesn't say what a bundle costs.

How you pay

  • Yearly only. The pricing page shows monthly rates, but its FAQ says all plans "are billed annually" and that monthly billing "is not available at this time".
  • No free plan or trial. The page offers a demo, not a trial.
  • Longer contracts cost less per year: 15% off for 2 years, 25% for 3 years and 40% for 4 years. Volume discounts apply automatically on top; the page doesn't list them.
  • Existing customers: Chili Piper says the new plans are "rolling out now" and that account teams will contact existing customers about what changes for them.

What a small team would pay

Worked out from the prices above, for Routing & Scheduling, the cheapest plan with routing, on a one-year contract:

People A year Per person
3 $15,000 $5,000
10 $15,000 $1,500
15 $15,000 $1,000
20 $17,700, with 5 extra seats $885

Below 15 people, you pay for seats you don't use. Longer contracts lower the yearly price: on the base price, 2 years comes to $12,750 a year, 3 years to $11,250 a year and 4 years to $9,000 a year. But you commit to $25,500, $33,750 or $36,000 in total.

The scheduler alone isn't a cheap way in either: at $12 per user with a 200-seat minimum, ChiliCal costs at least $2,400 a month, or $28,800 a year.

What the same job costs elsewhere

For three people, Chili Piper costs about 8 to 35 times as much as the tools below it. Prices from each tool's own pricing page.

These tools do less than Chili Piper. They don't have its lead sharing between reps, handoffs, AI chat or deep Salesforce integration. We compare them in more detail, including where each hosts your data, in Chili Piper alternatives for small teams.

When is Chili Piper worth the price?

  • You have a sales team of 15 or more and use most of the included seats.
  • Your routing depends on your CRM, such as account owners, territories and company size in Salesforce or HubSpot, and you want meetings and no-shows written back to it.
  • You have enough inbound leads that a few more booked meetings a month cover $15,000 a year.

If one or two people take every call, routing has nobody to choose between. What matters then is reaching ready visitors quickly. Signal works on that: it reads what a visitor does on your site, asks one short question when the answer would change what to offer, and offers the ready ones a call, a call back or WhatsApp, from €39 a month, billed monthly or yearly.
