Signal for software companies

Offer a demo to the teams that need one, and a trial to everyone else

Your pricing page gets a lot of visits and your demo calendar gets a lot of tyre-kickers. Signal asks about team size or use case, then offers each visitor the step that fits.

Where it helps

Demos with the wrong people

One question about team size keeps your sales team for accounts that need them.

Paid traffic you can't judge

See which campaigns bring visitors who book demos and start trials, not just clicks.

Trials that fade

Follow up three days after a guide or form with a short, personal email, only to people who agreed.

Questions it might ask

  • “How big is your team?”
  • “What would you use it for?”
  • “Are you switching from another tool?”

Next steps it can offer

  • Book a demo
  • Start a free trial
  • Watch a 3-minute tour

Examples. You write your own, or the setup wizard suggests them from your website.

Questions

We're product-led. Is this for us?

Yes: most visitors get the trial button anyway. Signal only steps in for the visitors who'd be better served by a conversation.

Does it identify which company is visiting?

No. Signal doesn't look up companies from IP addresses. It works out intent from behaviour and answers; people tell you who they are when they book.

Can we send leads to our CRM?

Yes, through a signed webhook with every lead. Native CRM connections are on the roadmap.
